Versailles Tower is Part of The Horseshoe

We just returned from our stay at Paris Las Vegas. When we went to check in we were told that we were in the new Versailles tower. Walking from the Paris hotel desk to the Versailles Tower takes approximately the same time as riding the train from Paris to the actual Versailles. I am not sure how this new tower is considered part of Paris when it is far easier to enter through the Horseshoe. When you enter/exit the Versailles Tower elevators, you are in the Horseshoe. The rooms were newly remodeled but lacked basic amenities. The weirdest one that is missing is there is no shelf in the shower, so everything you use you need to either hold or place on the shower floor. There are no irons/ironing boards in the new tower, you get a steamer. The first two steamers we tried were broken, so housekeeping brought us the third one that was still in the box. The first instruction for use was to hill the reservoir with distilled water, I am assuming that the hard Vegas water is the reason the first two weren't working. There is no coffee maker or refrigerator (even though the cabinet was clearly made for one). The wifi was spotty at best, causing the TV to constantly tell you it had lost a signal. There is also no waste basket in the bathroom area, which seems like a weird oversight. Our carpet was full of little beads, maybe someone's bracelet broke? Finally, the food selections are extremely expensive, even by Vegas standards, an iced latte and an extremely small box of grapes (maybe 12), crackers (6) and a few pieces of cheese were $30.

Our room was deeply located in The Horseshoe hotel in the Versailles tower. When we left our room our elevator opened into the Horseshoe hotel and to get to Paris hotel was a super long walk through the Horseshoe hotel. There was a large entrance sign that let you know you were entering the Paris hotel. We purchased our room for the accommodations at Paris, not Horseshoe. We were told they had no more rooms at Paris and when asked if they could drop our rate to the Horseshoe hotel rate we were told no. We spent the remainder of our time in the MGM properties due to this poor customer service and will continue. We have stayed at Paris many times and have been to Vegas over 20 times. This was not appropriate..

We came for a family wedding, held at Paris, and stayed 3 nights at Paris as well. The hotel is beautiful, but outdated (except for the restaurants). They didn't have an adequate hotel staffing level, and this led to extremely long lines for the front desk. Our rooms were not available for early check-in, understandable, but our rooms weren't even ready for 4:00 PM check in. Not acceptable. I had paid a higher amount to book a standard king room, but was told that the only room they had for me was a double queen or an accessible king, I chose the accessible king. "7:08 PM: Your room is ready" My first night showering in the accessible shower led to water flooding my bathroom because the shower curtain was the wrong size. I slipped multiple times on the shower curtain because of the size. The next morning (the morning of the wedding) I called housekeeping to tell them about the shower curtain and they said they'd send someone. The woman came and agreed that the curtain was the wrong size, but said she'd have to talk to her manager about a new curtain. By the time they brought the new curtain, I had already had to shower to start getting ready for the wedding that I was now running late for. Coming back that night, I took another shower but had no hot water. On the morning of check out, I called the front desk and paid for late check out. I was told that because I had an accessible room, they couldn't guarantee that they could give me the same room for late check out. She said I still had to check out of my current room at the front desk by 11, and see if they could keep me in the same room until 1:00. I headed downstairs for check out, stood in the line for about 10 minutes, realized that I didn't have my ID, I went back to my room and my key had stopped working, leading me to be locked out of my room with no ID. I waited in a super long line to speak to the front desk, wasting all of the extra time I had paid for for late check out. Overall a waste. Stay at a cheaper hotel on the strip. There are PLENTY to choose from! You can view the prettiest parts of this hotel as a visitor. Skip the unfriendly staff and resort fees! STRESSFUL experience, with no help.

Poor check-in process, bad room: broken frig, jammed safe. Changed rooms but late or no housekeeping services. PUNY pillows. Plugs in room broken/worn. Disappointed in what "Paris" could be as a Caesar's resort and location. With great options nearby.....look elsewhere..... Not worth it.

Excessive waiting times for busses in Paris. This has been going on for months. This is public transportation but the government doesn’t pay the drivers well ;as a result, they cannot recruit enough drivers. This situation exists despite eliminating trafic lanes to discourage people from taking their cars. Total disrespect for people who rely on public transportation. Pathetic
